This Privacy Policy explains how Jummah Unmuted collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website and translation service.

- Account information (via Google Sign-In / Firebase Auth): name, email address, and profile photo URL.
- Service usage and account activity: sign-in times, last active time, sign-out time, and online/offline status fields used for app operation.
- Technical/device data: browser user-agent, language, platform, and screen size.
- Analytics data: website analytics through Google Analytics (gtag) and app analytics entries in Firebase Realtime Database.
- Translation content: computer-generated khutbah transcriptions/translations and related metadata (such as mosque, timestamps, and approval/edit history).
2) How We Use Information
- To authenticate users and secure access to translation features.
- To deliver real-time translation content and maintain user sessions.
- To monitor reliability, usage patterns, and improve app performance.
- To support moderation and admin workflows (approve/edit/reject/archive records).
- To protect the service and detect misuse.
3) Where and How Data Is Stored
- Primary application data is stored in Firebase services (including Firebase Authentication and Firebase Realtime Database).
- Some browser-side data is stored locally on your device, such as selected mosque preference and temporary session flags.
4) Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by service providers required to run the app, including Google/Firebase services and Google Analytics.
5) Retention
We retain data for as long as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service, unless a shorter retention period is required by law or we decide to delete data earlier as part of maintenance and cleanup.
6) Your Choices
- You can stop using the service at any time.
- You can sign out from your account in the app.
- You can control some local browser data through your browser settings (for example, clearing local storage and cookies).
7) Security
We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8) Children
This service is not intentionally targeted to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us so we can review and remove data where appropriate.
